ISO 22301 is voted through

Member countries making up the ISO Technical Committee responsible for ISO 22301 have now voted on whether to move forward to publication. The result was a resounding "yes" and we should expect to see ISO 22301 published in the summer.

ISO 22301 takes its next step towards publication

The ISO Technical Committee responsible for ISO 22301 - Societal Security - Business Continuity Management Systems - Requirements issued the Final Draft (FDIS) version on 1st February 2012. There is now a two month review period (for editorial changes only) and thereafter a vote to move forward to final publication will be held by eligible ISO member countries.

All being well, we can expect to see publication of ISO 22301 by June 2012.

Introduction to ISO 22301 seminar proves a hit!

The seminar was very well attended and demonstrated that there is certainly an appetite for greater understanding of what the new ISO standard will include.

Perpetual Solutions plan to hold a follow up seminar once ISO has cast its vote on how the standard should proceed, later this year.

Free seminar on the new ISO for business continuity

The long awaited ISO standard for business continuity is nearly upon us. The review period has now opened and the draft standard is available for the public to read and comment on.

Perpetual Solutions is taking this opportunity to invite organisations to come to a free seminar to learn about how the standard may impact their existing BS 25999-2 certification and what they will need to consider in order to prepare themselves for the new ISO standard and to transition from one standard to the other.

The BCI announce its rollout of workshops accross Europe

Hilary Estall in partnership with the BCI will be rolling out a programme of workshops accross Europe, starting in Dublin in October 2010. Using the UK's highly successful format, workshops will be scheduled based on interest shown by local BCI Chapters and Groups.
